A giant blue and orange dragon isn't exactly inconspicuous, but Sparky the New York Islanders mascot managed to slip into the Empire State Building for the more than justified cause of supporting his team in the Stanley Cup Qualifiers.

While the Islanders are in Toronto for their series against the Florida Panthers, Sparky was busy holding down the home front with some hijinks.

After rolling and twisting and tiptoeing his way to the light controls, Sparky lit up the top portion of the iconic New York City landmark in orange and blue for Friday night. The colors of the lights change from the normal soft yellow lights regularly to support different causes or to signify special events and occasions.

And hockey coming back is definitely a reason to celebrate.
