Semyon Varlamov made 30 saves to help the Colorado Avalanche to a 2-0 preseason win against the Minnesota Wild at Pepsi Center on Tuesday.

Chris Bigras and Carl Soderberg each scored in the second period.
Wild starting goalie Darcy Kuemper made 13 saves on 15 shots through two periods. Alex Stalock made saves on all four shots he faced in the third period.
