Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin, who sustained an upper-body injury on Nov. 1, participated in the Lightning's optional skate, but will not play against the Sharks. He is expected to return to the lineup at some point during the Lightning's five-game road trip, which begins Monday at the New York Islanders. "Hopefully on the road he's going to jump in," coach Jon Cooper said. "I couldn't tell you if it's the first game of the fifth game." Drouin, said that he would have to go through contact drills first but he feels like he's close. "It's getting better every day," Drouin said. Despite his absence, the Lightning power play has remaining strong, scoring two goals against the New York Islanders on Thursday.
