Jonathan Ang lifts Panthers past Predators

Forward has goal, assist; James Reimer makes 12 saves in Florida preseason debut

Jonathan Ang had a goal and an assist to help the Florida Panthers defeat the Nashville Predators 4-1 at BB&T Center on Tuesday in the preseason opener for each team.

Dryden Hunt, Greg McKegg and Jonathan Marchessault also scored for Florida. Nashville forward James Neal scored a power-play goal at 9:35 of the third period.
Goalie James Reimer, in his first game with the Panthers after signing as an unrestricted free agent July 1, made saves on all 12 shots he faced in 30:29 before being relieved by Sam Brittain.
