Philadelphia Flyers

Tyson Foerster and Sean Couturier will be game-time decisions for the Flyers against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSP, ALT). Neither forward practiced Sunday. Foerster missed the final 3:59 of the first period of a 3-1 win against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday after being hit in right hand/wrist area by a Drake Batherson shot, but he returned in the second period. Coach Rick Tocchet said Couturier was "banged up a little" against the Senators. Philadelphia recalled forwards Alex Bump and Cole Knuble from Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League on Monday. … The Flyers will be without Owen Tippett (upper body) for a second straight game. Forward Travis Konecny (lower body), and defensemen Rasmus Ristolainen (upper body) and Cam York (upper body) are also unavailable and on injured reserve. "We're in that stretch right now where we're getting injuries," Tocchet said.

New York Rangers

Luke Glendening signed a professional tryout agreement with the Rangers on Monday. The 37-year-old forward split last season between the New Jersey Devils (four assists) in 52 games and Philadelphia Flyers (five points; two goals, three assists in 18 games). Glendening has 175 points (85 goals, 90 assists) in 934 regular-season games with the Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning, Devils and the Flyers, and 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in 60 Stanley Cup Playoff games. The Rangers host the Anaheim Ducks on Monday (7 p.m. ET; FOXLA+, Prime Video, MSG).

Winnipeg Jets

The Jets placed defenseman Josh Morrissey (upper body) on injured reserve Monday, retroactive to Oct. 7, and recalled forward Brayden Yager from Manitoba of the AHL. Morrissey was injured after a hit on Avalanche forward T.J. Hughes during the first period of a 3-2 win Oct. 7. He played one shift at the beginning of the second period but then left the game. Winnipeg coach Scott Arniel said Morrissey, who has three assists in four games this season, will not need surgery. Yager has five goals and nine points in six AHL games this season. The Jets visit the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.

Washington Capitals

Matt Roy (lower body) was a full participant at Capitals practice Monday and could return against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; ABTV, MNMT) after missing six games. … Pierre-Luc Dubois (illness) returned to practice in a noncontact jersey, and the center is likely to miss his fifth straight game. … Forward Justin Sourdif (illness) did not practice and “won’t play tomorrow,” coach Spencer Carbery said. Sourdif missed Washington’s 4-2 win against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

New York Islanders

Forwards Matias Maccelli and Calum Ritchie did not practice with the Islanders on Monday and won't play this week, coach Peter DeBoer said. Each was injured in the first period of a 4-1 win at Toronto on Saturday. Maccelli has six points (two goals, four assists) in his first eight games with New York; Ritchie has one goal, one assist in eight games. Mitchell Chaffee was recalled from Hamilton of the AHL, where the forward has six points (four goals, two assists) in six games. The Islanders host the Ducks on Tuesday and the Kings on Thursday before beginning a three-game road trip Sunday at the Dallas Stars.
