Canadiens, Senators unveil jerseys for NHL100 Classic

The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators will wear their traditional colors with design enhancements when they play in the
Scotiabank NHL100 Classic
outdoor game at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa on Dec. 16 (7 p.m. ET, CBC, TVA Sports, NBCSN, NHL.TV).

Each uniform simultaneously pays homage to the history of the NHL and the League's next 100 years. The color silver was used uniquely in the design as a symbolic accent, drawing a direct connection to the NHL's Centennial Celebration narrative
As the visiting team, the Canadiens will wear white uniforms. The crest is the current version of the Canadiens "CH" but with silver detailing replacing the white. This version of the crest is repeated on the helmet and pants. The design was inspired by the white jersey worn by the Canadiens in the late 1930s, and is one of the few white uniforms they've worn that does not have a contrast color in the shoulders.

The blue and white stripe from the hem is executed on the sleeve with a centennial silver band running between them. This band features tonal fabric details listing the years of the Canadiens' 24 Stanley Cup championships.
The collar incudes the French version of the NHL shield (LNH), a detail unique to the Canadiens.
The Senators will wear red uniforms trimmed in black, silver and white, with a large white "O" crest that originated from the first generation of the franchise through the
team's current uniforms. To commemorate the NHL's 100-year anniversary, the logo crest is in premium silver twill. This version of the crest is repeated on the helmet and pant.
Sandwiched between the white and black stripe is a band of silver. As the band wraps around the sleeves, it is detailed with a tonal fabric listing the Stanley Cup championships won by the original Senators.
