The New York Rangers' postseason run has caught the eyes of neighboring professional athletes.

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor wasn't much of a hockey fan before the Rangers caught fire in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Now, Lindor is humming the Rangers' goal-scoring song during and after Mets games.
"I love their song. Every time they put it on the [Mets] scoreboard, it was great," Lindor said after the Mets win against the Washington Nationals at Citi Field on Tuesday.

The Rangers won both the Eastern Conference First Round and Second Round in Game 7. The Eastern Conference Finals against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions, start Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.

Lindor knows how important home-field advantage is, saying, "you can feel the vibe" of New York fans supporting their team all around.
"Right now, watching [the Rangers] is special," Lindor said. "You can see when people come to the [Mets] games [in] Rangers jerseys and it's special."
Lindor also said despite not knowing the hockey rulebook, he's a fan of seeing athletes perform at the highest level, especially when those athletes are dressed in red, white and blue.
