Eriksson Ek capped off a long shift by scoring off a feed from below the goal line by Jordan Greenway for a 3-2 lead at 1:53 of the third period.
"We have been working really hard in practice and it showed out there today," Eriksson Ek said. "We're structured, we're staying the course. That's why we are doing really well right now."
Wild defenseman Matt Dumba was in the penalty box for delay of game when a pass back to Anaheim defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk at the Ducks' blue line got past him and Hartman scored off his own rebound on a breakaway to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead at 13:51 of the first period.
"I think I surprised him a little bit with how early I did shoot it," Hartman said. "He was pretty far out of the net. It worked well. It came right back to me and he was kind of stuck outside of his crease."
Shattenkirk was in the penalty box with the second of his three minors when Bonino ended an 0-for-18 start on the power play for the Wild, winning a faceoff and shooting the bouncing puck through Miller's pads to make it 2-0 at 5:50 of the second period.
"This is not a league where you can come in and dip your toe in the water and see if it's nice and warm," Eakins said. "You've got to jump two feet in, and whether it's scalding hot or ice cold, you've got to just deal with it and get going."
Deslauriers scored for the second straight game when Kahkonen was unable to glove a wrist shot from Rowney and the puck fell in front of him, giving Deslauriers an opening to push it through Kahkonen's pads to cut the lead to 2-1 at 8:58.
"(The Rowney) line is a good line to look at (for) what kind of energy you need to bring to the game," Eakins said.
Rowney set up Cam Fowler at the end of a 2-on-1 to make it 2-2 at 12:21.
"It's strong for a team to come back like that," Eriksson Ek said. "Just get that second period behind us and start over again in the third period and do good and win the game."
