St. Louis Blues fantasy projections for 2026-27

As part of NHL.com's 32 in 32 series, the fantasy hockey staff ranks the top five St. Louis Blues players for standard leagues and provides skater points and goalie wins projections for the 2026-27 season.

1. Robert Thomas, F

NHL.com fantasy rank: 56

Thomas has averaged at least 1.00 points per game in each of the past three seasons and in four of the past five. Since 2021-22, Thomas is tied for 23rd in the NHL in points per game (1.03; 373 points in 361 games) among those who have played at least 200 games during that period. Despite being limited to 64 games last season, Thomas led the Blues in goals (25), assists (39), points (64) and even-strength points (47). The 27-year-old could challenge his career high in points (86 in 2023-24) given his chemistry with wings Dylan Holloway and Jimmy Snuggerud down the stretch last season and is a potential draft bargain anytime outside the top 50 overall.

2. Dylan Holloway, F

Holloway has scored the most goals of any player on St. Louis' current roster the past two seasons combined (48) after the departure of Jordan Kyrou, who scored 54 during that span before being traded to the Washington Capitals on June 23. Holloway, who was second on the Blues in points per game (0.86; 51 points in 59 games) last season behind Thomas (1.00), was one of two players in the NHL (other: Brady Tkachuk) to average at least 0.80 points per game, 2.50 shots on goal per game (2.75), and 2.00 hits per game (2.19). Holloway joins his linemate Snuggerud as fringe top 30 players in NHL.com's keeper rankings, which are the best 25-and-younger options for long-term formats.

3. Jimmy Snuggerud, F

From Dec. 27 to the end of last season, Snuggerud led NHL rookies in goals (16), assists (24) and points (40) in 44 games. For the season, he provided strong fantasy category coverage of goals (21; fourth among rookies), points (51; fourth among rookies) power-play points (nine), shots on goal (169; third among rookies) and hits (71) in 70 games. He also was tied with forward Dalibor Dvorsky for the Blues lead in most power-play goals (five). Snuggerud, who is right behind his frequent linemates Thomas and Holloway in NHL.com's fantasy rankings for redraft leagues, presents stacking options with either of those forwards in the middle rounds.

4. Joel Hofer, G

NHL.com fantasy rank: 165

Hofer is coming off a breakout season, finishing second in the NHL in shutouts (six; behind Ilya Sorokin’s seven). Hofer had NHL career bests in wins (24), goals-against average (2.61) and shutouts in 46 games, outperforming veteran Jordan Binnington (.873 save percentage in 41 games) -- even with Hofer shouldering the heaviest workload of his career. Hofer has full-fledged breakout potential if he emerges as the clear starter in St. Louis, and at 26 years old is worth prioritizing as a depth goalie option in the late rounds of a fantasy draft.

5. Philip Broberg, D

NHL.com fantasy rank: 170

He set NHL career highs in assists (28), points (34) and average ice time (23:21) in 81 games last season and could reach another gear this season if he becomes the Blues' first power-play quarterback for the entire season after Justin Faulk was traded to the Detroit Red Wings on March 6. Broberg is a fantasy breakout candidate who is worth prioritizing in keeper leagues because of exposure to St. Louis' high-scoring young forwards.
