CGY@CBJ: Gaudreau startled by Blue Jackets' cannon

Hockey players are just like us, in that they even get startled by the Columbus cannon.

Johnny Gaudreau proved that again Tuesday when cameras caught him get startled when the full-sized piece of artillery at Nationwide Arena went off before the Calgary Flames game against the Blue Jackets.
Gaudreau ducked in fear after the cannon went off, as it does when the Blue Jackets take the ice before each game. He was able to at least flash a smile upon realizing it was part of the show at Nationwide Arena.
Gaudreau and the Flames got the last laugh though. The forward scored twice in Calgary's 9-6 win.
