Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play Monday against the Anaheim Ducks at Consol Energy Center (7 p.m. ET; TVA Sports, FS-W, ROOT, NHL.TV), coach Mike Sullivan announced.
Malkin, 29, missed the Penguins' 6-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday and their 3-2 overtime win against the Florida Panthers on Saturday. He is Pittsburgh's leading scorer this season with 23 goals and 49 points in 49 games.
