Anderson

Don't try to sell Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson on the realism of the new NHL '18 video game.

The popular selling franchise put out by EA Sports, which long-used the tagline "If it's in the game, it's in the game," to encapsulate the life-like simulation of actual NHL hockey, isn't so accurate according to Anderson.
After the
teaser trailer dropped this week
, it showed virtual Mitchell Marner making an incredible move and beating Anderson presumably, you never see the puck going in the net, only Marner celbrating] for a goal.
Nicholle Anderson, Craig's wife, whose battle with and
[recovery from a rare form of cancer

was an
inspirational story
throughout the 2017 season, took to Twitter to post her husband's response to the trailer. In it, his digital counterpart is seen diving to the right side of the crease after being caught way out of position.

Marner, for the record, did not score on Anderson this season, who beat the Maple Leafs twice in two starts.
The full reveal of the trailer, along with the game's new cover player, will be unveiled 2017 NHL Awards in Las Vegas on June 21.
