Recycle the Game Equipment Collection: Throughout the month of March, fans are encouraged to donate used hockey equipment at the Recycle the Game "green goal" located in the lobby of the OhioHealth Ice Haus. In exchange for donations, fans will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to the Blue Jackets-Red Wings game on April 3. All equipment collected will be sold at the Blue Jackets Foundation's annual equipment sale in September with proceeds being reinvested back into youth hockey in central Ohio.
Recycled Auction Items:For each home game this month, the Blue Jackets Foundation's online auction will feature at least one item that has been recycled, reused or repurposed. Offerings range from traditional game-used equipment to custom items made from broken sticks, rink glass, recycled jerseys and hockey socks. Proceeds from these items will help fund the Foundation's playground builds.
