The Sharks, who haven't won seven straight since March 25-April 5, 2013, have outscored their opponents 29-16 during the streak. San Jose is is seven points behind the Vegas Golden Knights for first place in the Pacific Division after defeating the Golden Knights 2-1 in overtime Thursday.
Calgary has been outscored 20-6 during a four-game losing streak and trails the Colorado Avalanche by eight points for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference.
Sean Monahan, Calgary's top-line center, is out for the rest of the season because of wrist and hip injuries. He will have wrist surgery.
