The Flames, who have clinched the best record in the Western Conference and will have home-ice advantage for as long as they remain in the first three rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, will rest some top players against the Ducks. Calgary is coming off a 7-2 win at the Los Angeles Kings on Monday, which gave them 50 wins for the second time in its history.
The Ducks went 9-6-1 during March without losing two in a row.

Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau has five points (one goal, four assists) in a four-game point streak. He needs three points for his first 100-point NHL season.
Ducks forward Jakob Silfverberg has 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in the past 15 games. He needs one goal to set an NHL career-high of 24.

Bennett left late in the second period against the Kings after taking a hit and won't play, but he could return for the regular-season finale against the visiting Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. ...
