"I've had some chances, especially as of late," Saad said. "But it's definitely nice for them to get in and get a win on top of that."
Patrick Kane also scored for the Blackhawks (5-2-2). He has 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in nine games this season.

Kane gave Chicago a 2-1 lead at 7:47 of the third period off a pass from Erik Gustafsson.
"He's always getting open," Gustafsson said. "He's trying to find a lane where I can pass [to] him and someone else can pass [to] him. It's great to find a spot. It [was] a nice goal."
Saad scored shorthanded into an empty net with 34 seconds remaining to make it 3-1.
Rickard Rakell scored for the Ducks (5-4-1), who have lost three straight after starting the season 5-1-1. John Gibson made 35 saves.
The Ducks appeared to tie the game 2-2 with 1:55 remaining in the third period but the goal was nullified because the puck was knocked in with a high stick.
"This one is tough," Gibson said. "I mean, look at the way we're playing. We've got young guys and stuff but I think we can be better. I think we can be a lot better. I mean, we're trying to focus on defense and stuff like that, I don't know, but for some reason it's not clicking.
"But we're going to stay with it and try to get better. There's not much else we can do other than just try to keep pushing through it. We're going to have adversity. I think it just hit some guys a little harder because we got off to a good start. They thought maybe things were a little better than [they] were, but I think reality set in a little bit and this is what we got."
Saad made it 1-0 with a power-play goal at 5:24 of the first period.
"Well, it definitely feels good, yeah," Saad said of his first goal of the season. "But that just goes back to keep coming consistently, keeping a level head, keep shooting the puck and they're going to go in. Regardless if they go in or not, you've got to take the positives and stay confident."
