GalchenyukA-ARI

Alex Galchenyuk practiced with the Arizona Coyotes on Monday, the first time he's skated with teammates since he sustained a lower-body injury against the Los Angeles Kings on Sept. 18.

Galchenyuk, 24, was expected to be the Coyotes' No. 1 center this season after being acquired in a trade with the Montreal Canadiens for forward Max Domi on June 15. He had 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) in 82 games last season.
"He adds a big amount of skill to our lineup," coach Rick Tocchet said. "Couple drills out there, you can see he's very deceiving ... He's a very instinctive guy. Good to have those kinds of guys in the lineup."
The Coyotes are 1-3-0 and have been shut out in their three losses. They play the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, NHL.TV).
