In the second episode of TEDDY Talks, Teddy Purcell catches up with former teammate Nate Thompson as the two took their dogs to the d̶o̶g̶ ̶p̶a̶r̶k nail salon.
They obviously go for the "classic pedicure" with a foot massage mixed in. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself, guys.

The two became fast friends after living in a hotel together for three months while playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning. With a mantra of "you can't find fun, fun finds you," they clearly had plenty of fun together.
Both Thompson and Purcell were traded from the Tampa Bay Lightning on the same day, coincidentally just hours apart. Although they went their separate ways, they're both living in Los Angeles now and having fun, just like old times.

Teddy and Nate catch up in a relaxing day at the spa

Thompson and his wife Sydney got married on August 4th, 2018 in an incredible ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel and Purcell was in the wedding party.
It was both Thompson and Purcell's first Jewish wedding, and from the looks of the photos... they can only go downhill from here.
Thompson converted to Judaism
after seeing his wife's family participate in the many family-oriented holidays. "I like how family-oriented it is. We want to raise our kids Jewish, so I thought why not go full on," said Thompson. Plus, his new Jewish name is Natan, which has a pretty nice ring to it.
In Teddy Talks tradition, the two made a lighthearted bet on how many goals Thompson would tally during his first Hannukah. Thompson, who has recently seen more power play minutes, thought five points in five games sounded reasonable.
Purcell put his money on four points, and as always, we hope Purcell is on the losing end of this one.
Either way, we are betting Thompson will enjoy his first-ever Hannukah this December.
