The LA Kings are proud to celebrate the contributions, history, culture, and influence of the Asian and Pacific Islanders (API) community. This month, as part of Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, the team will spotlight individuals in all facets of hockey - on the ice, working behind-the-scenes at pro sports organizations and in the stands - that positively impact the Kings and the sport.
Within our organization there are several employees who hold key roles and exercise tremendous influence in daily business and hockey operations. Join us in celebrating the achievements of five tremendous LA Kings employees.

Samantha Lewis is the Director of Ticket Operations for AEG Sports and the LA Kings. She began her career with the LA Kings in 2007 and enjoyed her favorite career moments in 2012 and 2014 when the LA Kings won the Stanley Cup. She has also enjoyed volunteering her time building vegetable gardens with the Kings Care Foundation, among other charitable initiatives.
Samantha is a 5th generation Chinese-Californian and a graduate of CSU Long Beach with a Bachelors Degree is Dietetics & Food Administration.
Amanda Phou joined the LA Kings at the end of 2021 as the Administrative and Employee Engagement Coordinator. In her role, Amanda assists and facilitates coordination for staff, vendors, and visitors. She is responsible for implementation of employee engagement and inclusion initiatives while also providing support with HR tasks such as payroll and recruiting. Growing up playing various sports she's excited to be able to work in a field that hits close to home. Amanda graduated from USC with an MS in Applied Psychology and received her BA in Psychology and Human Development from CSULB.
Johnny Seo is a Manager of Ticket Sales for the LA Kings and is currently in his fourth season with LA Kings/AEG. In his current role, he oversees a ticket sales team daily for selling season ticket membership. He also plans the sales campaigns and contests for the LA Kings Sales & Service Department. Johnny started with the Kings/AEG as Inside Sales Rep in 2018 and since then has moved up his career to Account Executive with LA Kings, Premium Sales Specialist with Crypto.com Arena Premium at AEG, and now as Manager of Ticket Sales.
Johnny holds his bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCLA. He is newly married and will have his wedding ceremony in Korea on 5/28/22!
Joana Filio is in her first season working with the LA Kings team as the HR Coordinator. She obtained her undergraduate degree from California State University of Fullerton majoring in business law & human resources.
As part of her duties with the LA Kings, Joana supports recruitment activities, maintains employee files and assists in executing HR policies and processes. She is grateful for the opportunity to expand her knowledge and learn every day! Joana is a passionate fan of the sport of hockey and has always been intrigued with sports in general growing up.
Joe Kang is a Membership Service Representative for the LA Kings and is in his first season with the organization. Joe is responsible for providing ongoing support to season ticket members with ticket exchanges, membership benefits and other team-related questions. He is passionate about providing the most memorable experience for our fans and loves the power that sports has to bring together and unite communities.
Joe hails from Huntington Beach, California and grew up playing hockey and going to Kings games. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Cal State Fullerton.
