5. Brown records his first career four-goal game

Brown has accomplished as many milestones in the NHL as one could dream of. But it wasn't until April 5th, 2018 that Brown collected his first career four-goal game. In season 14 of his career, Brown opened the game against the Minnesota Wild with a tip-in 55 seconds into the game before he netted his second goal on a 5-on-3 power play in front of the crease. Then, with less than a minute remaining in the second period, he completed the hat trick as he beat Alex Stalock for the third time through a screen on a 2-on-2 rush. That wasn't the end of Brown's night, however, as he eventually called game, burying a beautiful one-timer from Anze Kopitar for his first career four-goal game.

There were no milestones attached to this goal, it was just really cool! As Brown exited the zone looking for a pass to send him in alone for a breakaway, there was no passing lane. With the puck on Kopitar's stick, the future captain found a passing lane to the current captain by flipping the puck over everybody and allowing Brown to skate into a breakaway. Making no mistake, Brown finished off the beautiful sequence extending the lead in their eventual win.

3. Brown nets two shorties in route to a 2-0 series lead over Presidents' Trophy winning Vancouver Canucks

After sealing the victory with a goal in Game 1 of the First Round of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the NHL's top team in the regular season, Brown was just getting started. Not once, but twice Brown capitalized on the penalty kill to give the Kings two separate leads. It began with a great individual play by Kopitar to pick off a Canucks drop pass and cause chaos in front of the opposition's net. With Roberto Luongo on his backside and a trio of Canucks scrambling to cover the net, Brown rifled the puck into the back of net giving the Kings a 1-0 lead in the last minute of the first period. Following a game-tying goal early in the second period, Brown buried his second short-handed goal of the game on a breakaway, going forehand to backhand and beating Luongo's outstretched pads. The Kings went on to win the game 4-2 and the series 4-1.

2. Brown's OT winner gives Kings a 2-0 lead in the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals.

Three wins away from their second Stanley Cup in three years, the Kings hosted the New York Rangers for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. In front of an absolutely ruckus STAPLES Center crowd, the two teams were tied 4-4 midway into the second overtime period. With such momentum up in the air, Brown deflected in a Willie Mitchell point shot to send the Kings to New York with a 2-0 series lead. Three games later, Brown would hoist the Stanley Cup back in Los Angeles after another 2OT victory.

Onto the biggest goal of his career. It was May 6th, 2012, when Brown kicked off the biggest night in franchise history with the game's first goal in Game 6 of the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals. On route to a 6-1 Stanley Cup clinching victory, Brown's first-period tally came 11:03 in as the captain redirected in a centering shot-pass from Drew Doughty. Brown's night only got better as he picked up two more primary assists before ultimately becoming the first member in franchise history to hoist the Stanley Cup. Brown's three-point night gave him 20 points (8-12=20) in 20 playoff games, tying Kopitar for the most points in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
