Drew Doughty Goes One-on-One with Kevin from KROQ's Kevin & Bean Show

Drew Doughty sat down with Kevin Ryder from the Kevin & Bean Show to catch up on how the summer went and discuss the upcoming LA Kings season.
Ryder, one of the main hosts of the KROQ show, is a longtime LA Kings fan and asked Doughty some hard hitting questions.
Among those questions:
- How disciplined is his diet he during offseason? - Does Doughty check out the crowd at games? - Will he ever get his teeth fixed? - What was it like to get married this summer?

"I'm more disciplined in the offseason when it comes to eating than I am during the season," Doughty said. "I'm terrible at being on vacation, I go back to my house in London, Ontario and just chill."
One part of the summer that likely wasn't very chill was his wedding.
Doughty's wedding day was on the eighth day of the eighth month in 2018.
Coincidence? We think not.
"I had teeth in when I walked down the aisle, then once I had to say my vows, I ripped the teeth out because I can't speak with them in," Doughty said about his big day
"You without teeth, you're sort of the face of the Kings," Ryder said.

"My wife would] rather me have teeth," Doughty argued.
Although it was a great summer, he's happy to be in California with the team now.
"This is one of the fun parts of the season," Doughty said. "I'm excited to get back at it and get back to some winning ways. We made some offseason additions that will hopefully help our team."
Specifically, he said he believes Ilya Kovalchuk will be a great fit for the Kings.
"He can shoot the puck," Doughty said. "He's a great guy, always laughing, always having a good time."
Something that both Kovalchuk and Doughty have in common.
