SOROKIN WINS KHL TITLE, NAMED PLAYOFF MVP

The Gagarin Cup and MVP honors cap another stellar season for Sorokin, who went 28-6-4 during the regular season with a 1.19 GAA, a .947 SV% and a career-high 11 shutouts.
Sorokin has one more year left on his deal with CSKA.


DOBSON NAMED QMJHL FIRST-TEAM ALL-STAR:

Noah Dobson was named a QMJHL First-Team All-Star on Wednesday. Dobson recorded 52 points (15G, 37A) in 56 games with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. This is the second straight season Dobson was named as a First-Team All-Star.
In postseason action, Dobson and the Huskies lead the Rimouski Oceanic 2-0 in the third round of the QMJHL playoffs. Dobson, the Isles' 2018 first-round pick, has three points (1G, 2A) in the first two games of the series, a 5-1 win on Friday and a 4-3 win on Saturday.
Dobson has 18 points (4G, 14A) in 12 playoff games, leading all Q defensemen.

DURANDEAU, HALIFAX TIED 1-1:

Arnaud Durandeau and the Halifax Mooseheads are tied 1-1 with the Drummondville Voltigeurs in the third round of the QMJHL playoffs.
Durandeau scored the double-OT winner on Saturday, as the Mooseheads beat the Voltiguers 5-4 to notch their series at one game apiece.
Durandeau, the Isles' 2016 sixth-round pick (165th overall) recorded two points in the win, upping his playoff totals to 10 points (5G, 5A) in 13 games.


WILDE, JENKINS LEAD GUELPH 2-0:

Bode Wilde, Blade Jenkins and the Saginaw Spirit lead the Guelph Storm 2-0 in the third round of the OHL playoffs.
Jenkins scored his fifth goal of the playoffs in Saginaw's 7-2 win in Game 1, while Wilde scored his seventh goal of the postseason in a 4-3 OT win in Game 2.
Wilde, the Isles' 2018 second-round pick (41st overall), has nine points (7G, 2A) in 12 playoff games, while Jenkins, the Isles' 2018 fifth-rounder (134th overall) has eight points (5G, 3A) in 12 games.
