VGK Foundation Focus - Nov. 25, 2022

On Nov. 17, the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation hosted a food drive with Three Square Food Bank on Toshiba Plaza before the game against the Arizona Coyotes. Players' and coaches' significant others were in attendance collecting the non-perishable food items from hockey fans out front of the arena. All fans that donated received a special edition poster in return. Overall, 2,238 lbs of food were collected which was more than the food drive efforts from 2021. The proceeds from the 51/49 raffle that took place that night also went towards the Three-Square Food Bank.

In addition to the food drive on Toshiba Plaza, the foundation also partnered with Smith's Food & Drug Stores to collect non-perishable food items at City National Arena. That yielded 870 lbs of canned food items which also exceed the totals from 2021.
