VEGAS (November 18, 2021) -The Vegas Golden Knights and the D Las Vegas announced today, November 18, that the D Las Vegas will continue to help fund the organization's Lil' Knights youth hockey program that is offered at ice rinks throughout Southern Nevada. CEO of the D Las Vegas, Derek Stevens, presented the organization with a donation of $100,000 during the team's home game on November 18 against the Detroit Red Wings. Stevens and the D Las Vegas first began sponsoring the program in the summer of 2018.

The Lil' Knights program is a cross-ice development program that focuses on individual skills and team elements of hockey. It serves as the final step in the youth hockey development pyramid before joining a team, following the completion of Learn to Skate and Learn to Play.
"Our organization and entire community are full of gratitude for the generous support shown from the D Las Vegas," said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. "Growing the sport of hockey in Southern Nevada will always remain as one of our very top priorities, and the D Las Vegas has played an instrumental role in bringing that growth to life."
Lil' Knights is currently offered at all four ice rinks in Las Vegas including City National Arena and Lifeguard Arena in Henderson, with youth hockey development coaches teaching the same program on each ice surface. Through the continued sponsorship of the program, the D Las Vegas helps offset costs for ice, coaching and equipment, with each player getting a branded jersey as participants of the Lil' Knights.
