VEGAS (April 6, 2017) - Vegas Golden Knights Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Nehme Abouzeid announced today, April 6, that the team will be hosting a Spring Break Street Hockey Tour at six locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley, five of which are at various Clark County Parks and Recreation Centers. The Street Hockey Tour will be held during the week of Spring Break, Monday, April 10 through Thursday, April 13. Each event will feature street hockey, corn toss games and the Golden Knights inflatable shooting cage.

"The Spring Break Street Hockey Tour is a fun way to introduce the game of hockey to hundreds of kids throughout Clark County," said Vegas Golden Knights Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Nehme Abouzeid. "It is a sport that keeps kids healthy and active through its emphasis on physical fitness and teamwork. For those who have never played hockey before, we think they will find it is a sport similar to others they have tried, like soccer, with an added element of hand-eye coordination. We hope the kids enjoy the activities and are excited for Golden Knights ice hockey to officially begin this fall."

Please note the events are only open to registered participants at the respective facilities (the events are closed to the public).

Full details can be found below. Please note the hockey operations personnel are subject to change.

The Golden Knights will also be supporting a second Try Hockey For Free Day, which is set for Saturday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m. PT at the Las Vegas Ice Center. This event is designed to provide kids, between the ages of 4 to 9, a completely free experience to try youth hockey. A limited amount of equipment will be available to borrow and participating children do not need any previous skating or hockey experience. Coaches from the Nevada Storm will be on the ice to assist children in learning the basics.
