Vegas Golden Announce Roster Transactions

VEGAS (January 5, 2018) -Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, January 5, the following roster transactions: the team has activated defenseman
Luca Sbisa
from the injured reserve list and has placed defenseman Jon Merrill](https://www.nhl.com/player/jon-merrill-8475750) on the injured reserve list (undisclosed). Sbisa is expected to be available for the Golden Knights as they face the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at 5:30 p.m. PT.

Sbisa had missed the last nine games with a lower body injury. He has recorded 10 points (1G, 9 A) to go with eight penalty minutes in 23 games this season.
Merrill has recorded two points (1 G, 1A) in 14 games to go with eight penalty minutes this season. The Golden Knights selected Merrill in the 2017 Expansion Draft on June 21 from the New Jersey Devils.
