OPPOSITION UPDATE
Anaheim is eighth in the Pacific Division with a record of 1-5-1. They finished last year with a record of 31-37-14 - seventh in the division for a total of 76 points. Only the Seattle Kraken finished below them.
The Ducks' young guns lead the club in points. Troy Terry sits atop the team with 9 points (4G, 5A). Trevor Zegras is second with 5 points (4G, 1A). The team has had difficulty finding its stride to start the 2022-2023 season. Its only win came against the Kraken on Oct. 12.
KEYS TO THE GAME
Power play: Anaheim is ranked 31 of 32 for its penalty kill. If the Golden Knights can finally find their groove with the man advantage, they can create more offense and take advantage of where the opposition lacks in that aspect.
Offensive edge: In addition to a struggling penalty kill, the Ducks are also ranked 31st overall for the number of goals they score, averaging 2.29 per game. While obvious, if Vegas can score more than this average amount, they have a likely chance of ousting their opponent.
