Vegas fell to the Boston Bruins, 5-2, on Thursday night at T-Mobile Arena. Jack Eichel and Jonathan Marchessault scored for the Golden Knights, but Craig Smith's hat trick and David Pastrnak's pair of goals powered Boston to the victory. The teams split their two-game season series.

Anaheim enters Friday's contest with a 26-21-9 record and 61 points through 56 games. The Ducks snagged a 4-3 win against the Boston Bruins in their last game on Tuesday night. The team has started the month of March on the right webbed foot after stumbling to a 2-5-0 record in February. Special teams are a strength for the Ducks as they rank Top-10 in the NHL in power play percentage (5th) and penalty killing (9th).
Troy Terry tops the chart for the Ducks as he continues his breakout season with 26 points (27G, 19A) through 51 games. Rookie Trevor Zegras ranks second on the team with 41 points (14G, 27A) while veteran Ryan Getzlaf has put up 31 points (3G, 28A) in his 17th NHL season.

Vegas has put up a 2-1-0 record against Anaheim in their three meetings so far this season. The Golden Knights earned a 5-4 shootout win against the Ducks on Oct. 29, but Anaheim got even with a 6-5 win on Dec. 1 at Honda Center. In their last meeting, Nicolas Roy, Adam Brooks and Mattias Janmark scored for the Golden Knights in a 3-1 win on Dec. 31.
