This is the second meeting of the season between the Golden Knights and Kings.
SEASON SERIES
The Golden Knights are 1-0-0 against the Kings so far this season. Last time both teams played was on Oct. 11 which was the Golden Knights' first game of the 2022-2023 season. Vegas won the contest by a score of 4-3 thanks to Mark Stone's last-minute game-winner. Jonathan Marchessault, Jack Eichel and William Karlsson were the other players that notched goals for the Golden Knights.
LAST TIME OUT
The Golden Knights defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-4 in a shootout on Dec. 23. Alex Pietrangelo opened the scoring for Vegas in the first period, with Mark Stone and Michael Amadio scoring in the middle frame. Chandler Stephenson scored the tying goal at the end of the third and Stone went on to score the shootout winner. Stephenson let the way with four points (1G, 3A) while Amadio tied his career-high with a three-point night (1G, 2A).

Offense: Los Angeles gives up a lot of goals overall, ranking 23rd in the league for goals against. Vegas has done well on the road this season with overall wins and goals, so keeping up that pattern will be important against the Kings.
