"What better way to kick off the ultimate sports weekend than with a pep rally to get fans excited about the action coming to Las Vegas," said Rossi Ralenkotter, CEO of the LVCVA. "Only Las Vegas could bring this type of event together to celebrate our continuing growth as a sports town. We're excited to partner with the various sports and show fans around the world that no one does it quite like Las Vegas."
The pep rally will feature displays, interactive activities, merchandise and tickets for the various events and will be highlighted by appearances and presentations from personalities and athletes from each sport.
The excitement kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with a band and all four sports providing interactive activities for fans to enjoy. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with presentations from sports stars such as Noah Gragson, driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series; UFC® star Forrest Griffin and Ultimate Fighter Captains Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier; comedian Paul Scally and team captains from the USA Sevens Rugby teams; various event mascots; the Golden Knights drumline and more.
Fans will have a chance to win VIP packages to the sporting events throughout the rally. Merchandise, food and beverage outlets and ticket sales will also be available during the event
After the pep rally, the weekend action continues Thursday, March 1, with the return of the NASCAR hauler parade down the Las Vegas Strip and the USA Sevens Parade of Nations at the Fremont Street Experience. The sports action kicks off on Friday and continues through the weekend with a jam-packed schedule:

All of that leads up to the opening weekend of the NCAA men's basketball tournament, which draws big crowds to watch their favorite teams throughout the destination.
Las Vegas continues to expand its sports footprint, adding major sporting events and professional franchises to its portfolio. Known historically as the world's boxing capital, Las Vegas is home to the National Finals Rodeo, the NBA Summer League, a PGA tour stop, a second NASCAR triple-header weekend, the minor league baseball Las Vegas 51s, the Professional Bull Riders and more.
Over the next two years, in addition to the recent debut of the Vegas Golden Knights, Las Vegas will also welcome the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, the Las Vegas Lights FC in the United Soccer League and the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL.
