Michael Amadio scored in the second period to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. Two minutes later, Wyatt Johnston knotted the game for the Stars at 1-1. In the final period, Jack Eichel gave the Golden Knights a 2-1 edge with 4:36 to play. Roope Hintz then tied the game at 2-2 to send it to overtime. In the shootout, Vegas went scoreless, and Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz scored for Dallas to win it.
