1. THAT OTHER STREAK
The Flyers may have had their 12-game point streak end on Thursday, but they are in the midst of another significant streak... They have won seven straight games on the road and will be looking to tie a franchise record with eight straight road wins for the just the second time and first since they won eight straight from Dec. 22, 1982-Jan. 16, 1983... During this seven game road streak, the Flyers are led by captain Claude Giroux, who has eight points (4g-4a) in the seven game span, while back in the 1982-83 season, they were led by captain Bobby Clarke, who had 13 points (4g-9a) in those eight road games.
2. TAMPA TIME
Tonight kicks off an eight-game homestand that will last 18 days but is also the third game in a four-day span for Tampa ... The Lightning own the best record in the NHL with the most wins and points at 44-17-4 for 92 points... They are the league's best offensive team with 229 goals scored and 3.52 goals per-game...They have won five of their last six games, but have earned points in each of those six contests (5-0-1) and have played four consecutive games that have been decided past regulation.
3. SERIES FINALE
Today's game is the rubber match of the season series with each team winning on each other's home ice in convincing fashion... The Flyers took a 5-3 win at Tampa on Dec. 29, while the Lightning repaid the favor on Jan. 25 with a 5-1 win at the Wells Fargo Center... The Flyers have significantly outshot the Lightning through two games, holding a 75-49 advantage... Claude Giroux leads the Flyers in the season series with four points, all assists, while Nikita Kucherov leads Tampa with five points, all assists... The Flyers have earned points in three of the last four meetings at Tampa, going 2-1-1.

Konecny scored the lone Flyers goal in his last game, his 16th of the year which is a new career high... Against the Lightning, Konecny has recorded points in each of his last three meetings dating back to last season - he has four points (2g-2a) in five career games against Tampa.
LIGHTNING (D: #77 - Victor Hedman)
Hedman comes into today with 12 points (3g-9a) in 16 games, while averaging 26:46 of ice time, since he missed four games to injury prior to the All-Star break... He has logged over 28 minutes of ice time in each of his last four games, including over 30 minutes in the Lightning's 5-4 OT win over Dallas where he recorded an assist... Hedman ranks sixth among all defensemen in scoring with 45 points and is tied for the lead in plus-minus among d-men with a plus-26 rating.
