Nick Suzuki puts on a show

MONTREAL - General manager Marc Bergevin was at the Sleeman Centre on Sunday to watch prospect Nick Suzuki in action for the Guelph Storm.

And Suzuki didn't disappoint, scoring one of the sweetest goals of the season in a 5-1 win over the Saginaw Spirit.

By lighting the lamp, the 19-year-old pivot extended his points streak to 11 straight games. The Canadiens' hopeful has been held off the scoresheet just twice in 17 OHL playoff games so far this year.
Suzuki is the League's postseason leader with 12 goals and 30 points. He's also the top postseason point-getter across the CHL ranks.

After downing the London Knights in the previous round by overcoming a 3-0 series deficit, the Storm can accomplish a similar feat again on Monday. The Spirit led the series 3-1, before Guelph rallied to win the last two contests by giving up just one goal.
Game 7 of the Western Conference Championship series will be played at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The winner will battle the Ottawa 67's in the OHL Finals.
