The Boston Bruins Foundation will host its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament, presented by TD, on Wednesday, September 9 at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts (54 Clubhouse Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360).
Members of the current Boston Bruins roster, alumni and coaching staff will take part in the event, with a shotgun start at 12 p.m. Boston Bruins Foundation President Bob Sweeney and select members of the Bruins organization will be available to media beginning as early as 10:30 a.m. behind the clubhouse.
Additionally, Special Olympic Massachusetts athletes John Dunleavy, Chase Hertog and Tyler Lagasse will participate in this year's event.
Dunleavy has been an athlete with Special Olympics Massachusetts for more than a decade, participating in swimming and basketball and works within the Boston Bruins organization. Chase Hertog, alongside his father Steve Hertog, won a gold medal in Level 3 Unified Golf for Team Massachusetts at the 2026 Special Olympics National Games in Minnesota. Lagasse, a graduate of UMass Lowell, is a member of the Special Olympics Massachusetts Hall of Fame and represented Special Olympics USA in alpine skiing at the World Winter Games Turin in 2025.
Proceeds from the Annual Golf Tournament will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and the Boston Bruins Alumni Association. The Boston Bruins Foundation is a non-profit that collaborates with charitable organizations that demonstrate a commitment to health and wellness, education and athletics. Since its inception in 2003, the Foundation has raised over $80.5 million through various events and community initiatives.
