There will be no changes to the lineup when the St. Louis Blues face the Vegas Golden Knights at Enterprise Center.

The Blues held an optional skate on Thursday morning, but Head Coach Jim Montgomery confirmed the team will ice the same forward lines and defense pairings with Joel Hofer in net.

After starting the homestand with a victory over Winnipeg, the Blues have another tough test ahead of them. Their next two opponents - Vegas and Carolina - are the two teams that faced each other in the 2026 Stanley Cup Final.

"This stretch, the five games at home, it's really good hockey teams in the NHL that are all doing well already," said Montgomery. "We're just focused on tonight, and we're really focused on ourselves. We want to be a consistent team that knows who we are, and we've got to get to that."

The head coach also provided an update on forward Alexey Toropchenko, who suffered an upper-body injury in the first game of the season.

Despite an original timeline of six weeks, Toropchenko has been back at practice and progressing well. Montgomery said the forward took contact in Wednesday's practice, will take more in Friday's practice and "then he might be close."

Thursday's 7 p.m. game will be available on Blue Note+ and simulcast on First Alert ABC. Fans can also tune in to the radio feed on 101 ESPN or in the Blues App.
