CBJ Foundation to hold online auctions to support community partners

The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation announced today that it will be holding weekly, online auctions to raise money to assist the efforts of local community partners with unique needs during the COVID-19 crisis. The auctions will consist of a variety of autographed team merchandise and memorabilia with money raised donated to the following organizations:
Week of March 23
LSS CHOICES - LSS Choices provides counseling, shelter, crisis intervention, education, as well as community and legal support and advocacy to central Ohio residents facing domestic violence and is the only domestic violence shelter in Franklin County. For more information on LSS Choices, visit

COLUMBUS RECREATION AND PARKS - Columbus Recreation and Parks is dedicated to connecting the people of our community through the power of nature, wellness and creativity. CHILDREN'S HUNGER ALLIANCE - Children's Hunger Alliance is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger by partnering with organizations throughout Ohio to provide nutritious meals to at-risk children that need them most. It helps day care providers, day care centers, local school districts, afterschool and summer programs provide balanced, healthy meals to children in their care. "After having discussions with a number of our grant partners, a common theme was the need for food and cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, soap, etc.," said CBJ Foundation Executive Director Katie Matney. "The 5th Line has always been supportive of our efforts in the community and this is a way for Blue Jackets fans to get unique items and help local organizations in need."
The auction benefitting LSS Choices is open now and will run until 5 p.m. ET on Friday, March 27. Each subsequent auction will open at 12 p.m. ET on Monday and be live until 5 p.m. ET on Friday.
