Avalanche Hosts Can Food Drive Wednesday

The Colorado Avalanche will host its annual Do All You Can Food Drive at Pepsi Center prior to Wednesday's game against the Edmonton Oilers.
Both canned food and monetary donations will be collected at the entrances of the arena prior to the contest. All donations will go to the Denver Rescue Mission, which provides 650,000 meals to those in need each year.

In addition, Ball Corporation will match up to the first $10,000 in donations.
The collection begins at 6:30 p.m. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m
