The NHL's two top scoring lines clash on Wednesday night at Pepsi Cener as the Avs host the Boston Bruins. Colorado is 21-10-1 against Boston since moving to Denver and has won the last three matchups. The Avs swept the 2017-18 series, outscoring the Bruins by a combined 10-3 in the two contests.

Friday, November 16 vs. Washington Capitals

The defending Stanley Cup Champions make their only appearance in the Mile High City this season on Friday night, exactly a year from their last visit. Colorado and Washington split last season's two-game series with each team taking a win at home. The Avalanche won 6-2 at Pepsi Center in 2017 backed by Gabriel Landeskog's first career hat trick.

Sunday, November 18 at Anaheim Ducks

Honda Center, 6 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 92.5 FM
The Avalanche opens a three-game road trip against the Pacific Division on Sunday evening at Anaheim. It's the first of three games against the Ducks this season, two of which will be played on the road. Anaheim makes its first and only visit to Denver on March 15.

Player Spotlight: Tyson Barrie

Barrie registered his 200th career assist against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, becoming the third defenseman in Avalanche/Nordiques franchise history to reach the 200 career helper milestone. Barrie also notched his 62nd career goal, matching Rob Blake for third place on the franchise list for goals by a defenseman. The Avs' blueliner has a +12 plus-minus rating this season, tied for second in the league and tops among NHL defensemen.

On Nov. 7, Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Bourque skated with children fighting cancer and their families at a Break the Ice event at Pepsi Center. Matt Nieto and Colin Wilson served dinner to families in need at the Denver Rescue Mission.
