Colin Wilson Colorado Avalanche Boston Bruins 2017-18 Season

BOSTON--The Colorado Avalanche plays its final contest in an Eastern Conference building during the 2018-19 season today against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.

It is the second of consecutive afternoon games for the Avs, who fell 4-3 in overtime on Saturday at the New York Islanders. The Avalanche is 3-3-1 in the second half of back-to-back sets and 3-2-1 in daytime outings so far this season.
Colorado did not hold a morning skate today so the exact lineup won't be known until right before puck drop.
Goaltender Philipp Grubauer is expected to start in net for the Avs after Semyon Varlamov made 37 saves between the pipes on Saturday in New York.
Colorado won its first matchup of the season with Boston, 6-3, on Nov. 14 at Pepsi Center after scoring four times in the third period to rally from a 3-2 deficit.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup based on how the forward combinations and defensive pairings were to begin the contest on Saturday at the Islanders. They are subject to change.
