White will replace Nate Thompson on the Sens' third line after Thompson exited Thursday's game with a lower body injury. Tonight will mark White's fourth game with the Senators this season after spening the bulk of the year in the AHL where he has compiled 16 points (8G, 8A) in 30 games in Belleville.
"When I got the call yesterday I was really excited," said White following the team's morning skate. "But I need to keep my emotions in check so the plan is to keep things simple tonight and stick to the same game that got me here."

White has been moved up and down the Sens' forward lines during his time in the NHL this season and was featured in the top 6 role during his last stint with the team prior to the bye week. Tonight he'll have another opportunity to showcase his versatility when he lines up on the wing on the third line with Zack Smith and Tom Pyatt.
"It definitely helps my confidence," White said about the opportunities he's received this season. "Knowing that the coach has some trust in me to put me anywhere in the line-up is nice little boost."
On defence, Erik Karlsson was absent for the team's last two skates but the coach confirmed this morning that the captain is good to go tonight against the Maple Leafs.
With that here's a look at the Sens' projected line-up versus Toronto:
