We've got the latest on the Sens' line-up for this evening as well as some details on what you can expect at Country Night tonight as the Sens get set to host the Predators at 7:30 p.m.

Line-up Notes

Let's start with a some more positive injury news today as Matt Duchene, Mark Borowiecki and Dylan DeMelo (wearing a non-contact jersey) all rejoined the team for this morning's skate. Obviously their presence on the ice was a great sign but only Borowiecki has been cleared to return tonight while Sens head coach Guy Boucher shared that Duchene and DeMelo could both be back in the line-up on Friday in New Jersey.
"I've been skating a lot," said Borowiecki about his recovery. "I broke my hand so I was able to continue to skate for the entire time. The past 3-4 days, I was shooting a lot of pucks and stickhandling again with no effects."
With Borowiecki set to return the Sens have sent Erik Burgdoerfer and Stefan Elliott to Belleville along with Max McCormick who cleared waivers today at noon. The coach also shared that he's been pleased with the defence corps play as of late and instead of sitting someone in place of Borowiecki, that he'll roll with 7 defencemen tonight against the Predators.
One thing to watch as we get closer to puck drop is the availability of Ryan Dzingel who fell awkwardly into the boards near the end of today's on-ice session. Boucher relayed that they'll monitor his status and if he's unable to go, then it'l be next man up in his stead.

Sens vs. Predators – Coach Pre-game

In Goal

Craig Anderson (13-12-3) will be back between the pipes tonight for the Sens after a rare evening off on Saturday in Montreal. Anderson was great in his most recent start this past Friday in Detroit stopping 26 of the 28 shots he faced which has upped his save percentage in his last 3 games to a stellar .940%.
"I thought this was a really complete team effort," Anderson said following the 4-2 win against the Red Wings. "We played well in all three zones and the guys were winning a lot of one-on-one puck battles in our end."
