Get set for tonight's 7:30 p.m. tilt against the Ducks at Canadian Tire Centre with a look at some line-up notes, details on Hockey Talks night and more.

Paajarvi providing a boost

With 4 goals in his last 6 games, including a pair of goals against the Maple Leafs last night, Magnus Paajarvi has shown good chemistry with his linemates Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Zack Smith and has been able to provide some secondary scoring recently.
"Our line has been feeling good the last couple of games," said Paajarvi following last night's 5-4 loss to the Leafs. "It's been nice that they stuck with us and we were able create some offence in Toronto."
Paajarvi's line has typically taken on more of a defensive role, drawing the tough assignments against the opposing team's top lines, and while they weren't able to lock down the decision against the Maple Leafs last night, he shared that success will follow with a complete effort on the ice.
"We've been playing good for 50 minutes over the last couple of games but we need 60 to win," he said. "It's a good thing we're right back at it against Anaheim because this one stings because we felt so good."

Projected Line-Up

Following yesterday's game in Toronto, the Sens forgoed their morning skate today and instead Sens head coach Guy Boucher met with the media to share a few updates about his line-up for tonight.
The coach confirmed that there could be a change on defence tonight with the recently recalled Cody Goloubef potentially drawing in for his first game with the Senators. The decision is set to be made following warm-up and the coach shared that he will once again use 12 forwards and 6 defencemen against the Ducks. Goloubef was acquired from the Boston Bruins on January 11th and in 9 games with Belleville has racked up 6 points (1G, 5A).

Here's how the forward lines and defence pairings could look tonight against the Ducks:
Dzingel - Duchene - Ryan
Tkachuk - White - Stone
Smith - Pageau - Paajarvi
Balcers - Tierney - Rodewald
Chabot - DeMelo
Lajoie - Ceci
Borowiecki - Harpur

In Goal

Anders Nilsson (7-12-1) gets the call in net tonight for the Senators as they look to snap out of their current 5-game losing skid. Nilsson has been solid recently and has racked up 4 wins in his last 6 starts which included a stellar 32-save performance in a 2-1 overtime win against the Ducks in Anaheim on January 9th.
"They played really good in front of me," said Nilsson post-game in Anaheim. "I think that's the way we need to keep playing because we have a lot of offensive skilled players that can put the puck in the net."
