We've got the latest on Bobby Ryan's return, details on the Sens projected line-up against the Red Wings and more before tonight's 7:30 p.m. start in Detroit.

Bobby's back

Kicking things off with some good news for a change as Bobby Ryan is set to return after missing the last 3 games with a concussion. Ryan rejoined the Sens in Detroit yesterday after a fairly smooth recovery.
"I got relatively symptom-free right out of the gate," said Ryan. "Once you're in the protocol, you have to go through the protocol and jump through the hoops but I understand all that. I really haven't had any bad days since Saturday and I passed the baseline yesterday so back to work."
"To go through it relatively quickly and come out sypmtom-free...I was really lucky."

Projected Line-up

Sens head coach Guy Boucher spoke with the media this morning following the team's optional morning skate but wasn't able to completely confirm his line-up for tonight.
"We're most probably going to go with 7 defencemen. I'm just waiting to see on somebody," said Boucher. "If we can go with 7 defencemen than I'll have to make a decision on which forward comes out."
The Sens have battled a litany of injuries over the past few weeks and even with the relief of Ryan returning tonight, Boucher has been working hard to not over-expose his young roster.
"It's been a trying last little while with all our injuries," said the coach. "We've been having to play some guys way more than they can handle which is what we'll try to balance a bit tonight if we can."

Sens @ Red Wings – Coach Pre-game

With some game-time decisions still to come, here's what NHL.com has for the Sens projected line-up if you wanted an idea of what the lines and pairings could look like...
Tkachuk - White - Stone
Boedker - Tierney - Ryan
Dzingel - Smith - Paajarvi
McCormick - Paul - Pyatt / Batherson
Chabot - Harpur
Lajoie - Ceci
Falk - Burgdoerfer / Elliott

In Goal

Craig Anderson (12-12-3) gets the nod in net for the Senators tonight and he'll look to continue his strong play between the pipes against Detroit. In his last 6 starts, Anderson has a .932 save percentage but since he sees an exorbitant amount of rubber (on once did he have less than 30 shots on goal in those 6 GP) his record for that span was 3-3-0.
