We've got all the Sens notes and quotes you need to get ready for tonight's 7:30 p.m. puck drop in Montreal.

Chabot still rolling

Thomas Chabot, who grew up a few hours east on Montreal in Sainte-Marie, QC, is no stranger to the Bell Centre.
"As a kid from Quebec, I've always been a fan of that team," said Chabot about playing in the Canadiens' rink tonight. "Plus we had the chance to play World Juniors there as well."
Chabot had an unbelievable showing at the 2017 World Junior Championships recording 10 points (4G, 6A) in 7 games for Team Canada and was named the tournament's MVP. Unfortunately, his bid for a gold medal was thwarted by Team USA in a shootout in the finals.
"It's hard not to get reminded when you have Colin White on your team," Chabot joked. "It is what it is and I think it was a great game. Obviously not the result we wanted but it was a great experience for everyone."
The Sens' 21-year-old defenceman has excelled in his sophomore season and currently leads all NHL defenders in points with 31 (7G, 24A) this year. While the offence has been front and centre, Chabot credits the team's attention to detail on defence as a big reason for their current three game winning streak.
"We've been focusing on being better in our own zone and I think we took a really big step towards that in our last few games," he said. "It's a long season and things are going well right now so we want to keep that going."

Projected Line-up

Don't mess with success. After Saturday's 6-2 win over the San Jose Sharks, head coach Guy Boucher confirmed today that he'll deploy the exact same line-up tonight in Montreal as the Sens hunt for their fourth consecutive victory.
"Our offensive game has been there since day one so we don't want to change that," said Boucher. "But lately our defensive game is way better. The addition of some big bodies back there has definitely helped us and hopefully can help us again tonight."
The coach is refering to the return of 6'6" Ben Harpur and the addition of 6'5" Justin Falk on the blueline who both had strong defensive games against the Sharks last weekend. Falk, who was signed this past Friday, has had a whirlwind few days and skated with his new club while the ink was still drying on his contract with the Senators.
"The offer came in that day so it was a quick decision," recalled Falk. "But it was an NHL offer and a chance to be in the league so you jump on it."

Meet newest Senator Justin Falk

Here's a look at the Sens projected line-up for tonight:
Dzingel - Duchene - Batherson
Tkachuk - White - Stone
Boedker - Tierney - Ryan
Pyatt - Smith - Paajarvi
Chabot - DeMelo
Harpur - Ceci
Falk - Jaros

In Goal

Craig Anderson (11-9-3) gets the start in goal tonight for the Senators and looks to extend his personal winning streak to 3 games. Anderson has been brilliant in his last two appearances and combined to stop 63 of the 65 shots he faced against the Rangers and Sharks.
