Bring science, technology, engineering and math to life using Hockey Scholar. This web-based course, within the NHL Future Goals program, leverages hockey to teach foundational STEM concepts at no cost, covering topics like rates and ratios, states of matter, force and energy.
Since 2010, the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association has received a grant from the Detroit Red Wings Foundation to provide Learn to Play Hockey Clinics throughout the state of Michigan. Local associations host these one-day clinics. The Grow the Game events are free to participants who wish to try the sport of youth hockey.
