Goaltending prospect Brandon Halverson made a career-high 42 season in Hartford's 3-2 win over Lehigh Valley Friday night.
"It was a tough game," Halverson told the team's website. "I think we got a little undisciplined, making little mistakes here and there, but I think as the game went on, I was there to bail my teammates out, and at the same time, guys were as usual, blocking shots and making good plays."
Halverson has won four of his last five games and is 8-9-0-0 on the season with a 3.20 GAA and a .893 sv% in 18 games this season.
Nicklas Jensen scored his team-high 22nd of the season, while Marek Hrivik added a goal of his own. Mat Bodie and Robin Kovacs each had assists.
