To assist fans with questions pertaining to the 2021.22 NHL schedule updates, we have provided answers to some of your most common questions below. As always, should you have additional concerns, do not hesitate to contact the Penguins Ticketing Department:

What Penguins home games have been rescheduled?

As of January 19, 2022, the following 2021.22 regular season home games have been rescheduled:

December 21 vs. New Jersey Devils
Rescheduled Date - Thursday, February 24 at 7:00 PM

December 23 vs. Philadelphia Flyers
Rescheduled Date - Tuesday, February 15 at 7:00 PM

April 12 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets
Rescheduled Date - Sunday, February 20 at 1:00 PM
New Opponent - Carolina Hurricanes

In addition, the Penguins opponent on April 29 has been changed from the Carolina Hurricanes to the Columbus Blue Jackets.


I have tickets for a rescheduled game. What should I do?

Tickets, including those purchased through Ticketmaster, the Penguins Ticketing Department, FEVO and NHL Ticket Exchange, will remain valid for the rescheduled date.

Fans are encouraged to use the original tickets for the new game date or contact their original point of purchase to discuss all available options.

As a reminder:

December 21 tickets should be used February 24
December 23 tickets should be used February 15
April 12 tickets should be used February 20
April 29 tickets should be used April 29 (opponent change only)


I have tickets for a game and will not be able to attend the rescheduled date. What should I do with my tickets?

Single-game tickets purchased directly through are subject to their postponement policies. While tickets are valid for the rescheduled date, Ticketmaster buyers will receive an email detailing all options, including instructions for submitting an online refund request. The refund window will close 14 days prior to the rescheduled game date.

Fans also have the ability to transfer or resell tickets they are unable to use.

Fans that purchased through the Pittsburgh Penguins Ticketing Department should call 412.642.PENS or email for further assistance.


I purchased tickets through a resale site. Will I receive a refund?

Fans that purchased through NHL Ticket Exchange will receive an email from Ticketmaster detailing all available options.

Tickets purchased through a resale site (StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, etc.) will be subject to the postponement & rescheduling policy of that ticket marketplace. Please contact their customer service departments for more information.


I am a Penguins season ticket holder that resold my tickets via NHL Ticket Exchange. Can the buyer request a refund?

NHL Ticket Exchange buyers have the opportunity to request a refund through their online Ticketmaster account. If a request is submitted for your seats, the transaction will be reversed. You will be notified by Ticketmaster and your seats will appear in your My Penguins Account. If a refund is not requested, the tickets will remain with the buyer and you will receive a direct deposit after the game is played. The buyer's refund request window will close 14 days prior to the rescheduled game date.


December 21 was originally '80s Night presented by 102.5 DVE and April 12 was Pittsburgh Night presented by PPG. Will the theme nights be rescheduled?

December 29 at Toronto Maple Leafs
Rescheduled Date - Thursday, February 17 at 7:00 PM

December 31 at Ottawa Senators
Rescheduled Date - Thursday, February 10 at 7:00 PM

February 24 at New Jersey Devils
Rescheduled Date - Sunday, February 13 at 1:00 PM

March 10 at New York Islanders
Rescheduled Date - Tuesday, April 12 at 7:30 PM
