Here are other contract agreements reached Friday during the first day of NHL free agency:

Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes signed goalie Justin Peters to a one-year, two-way contract. Peters, 29, was 17-8-7 with a 3.04 goals-against average and .896 save percentage in 37 games with Hershey of the American Hockey League, the Washington Capitals' affiliate. Peters is 25-37-9 in 80 NHL games with the Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes.
Calgary Flames

The Flames signed goalie Chad Johnson. A Calgary native, Johnson, 30, was 22-16-4 with a 2.36 goals-against average, .920 save percentage and one shutout with the Buffalo Sabres last season. In 101 NHL games with the New York Rangers, Arizona Coyotes, Boston Bruins, New York Islanders and Sabres, Johnson is 50-30-11 with four shutouts.
Carolina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes agreed to a one-year contract with forward Viktor Stalberg. He had nine goals and 11 assists in 75 games with the New York Rangers last season. Stalberg has 71 goals and 81 assists in 413 NHL games with the Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators.
Colorado Avalanche
The Avalanche signed forward Joe Colborne to a two-year contract. Colborne, 26, had career highs with 19 goals, 25 assists and 44 points in 73 games with the Calgary Flames last season. He has 106 points (38 goals) in 233 NHL games with the Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Dallas Stars
The Stars signed forward Patrick Eaves to a one-year contract. Eaves, 32, had 17 points (11 goals) in 54 games with the Stars last season. He has 99 goals and 190 points in 545 regular-season games.
Detroit Red Wings
Detroit agreed to terms with forward Steve Ott on a one-year contract. Ott, 33, had two assists in 21 games with the St. Louis Blues last season. In 14 NHL seasons, Ott has 106 goals and 281 points with the Dallas Stars, Buffalo Sabres and Blues. He has three goals and eight points in 55 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers signed goalie Jonas Gustavsson to a one-year contract. He was 11-9-1 in 24 games (20 starts) backing up Tuukka Rask with the Boston Bruins last season. In seven seasons with the Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings, Gustavsson is 71-64-22 in 172 regular-season games.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings signed goalie Jeff Zatkoff to a two-year contract. Zatkoff, 29, was 4-7-1 in 14 regular-season games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season, and went 1-1 in two Stanley Cup Playoff games to help the Penguins win the Stanley Cup.
Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens signed goalie Al Montoya to a one-year contract. Montoya was 12-7-3 in 25 games (22 starts) last season with the Florida Panthers. In seven seasons with the Panthers, Arizona Coyotes, New York Islanders and Winnipeg Jets, Montoya is 55-40-18 with a 2.59 goals-against average, .909 save percentage and five shutouts.

Nashville Predators
The Predators signed defenseman Yannick Weber to a one-year contract. Weber, 27, had seven assists in 45 games with the Vancouver Canucks last season. In 274 NHL games, Weber has 22 goals and 48 assists with the Montreal Canadiens and Canucks. He has three goals and four points in 12 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Predators also signed defenseman Matt Irwin to a one-year contract. Irwin spent last season with the Boston Bruins and played in two games.
New Jersey Devils
The Devils signed forward Devante Smith-Pelly to a two-year contract. Smith-Pelly had 14 goals and 11 assists in 64 games with the Devils and Montreal Canadiens last season. New Jersey also signed defenseman John Merrill to a two-year contract and Beau Bennett to a one-year contract. Merrill, 24, had one goal and five assists in 47 games with the Devils last season. Bennett, who was acquired at the 2016 NHL Draft, had six goals and 12 points in 33 regular-season games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season.
New York Islanders
The Islanders agreed to terms with forward Shane Prince on a two-year contract. Prince, 23, had three goals and five points in 20 games with the Islanders last season after he was acquired from the Ottawa Senators, where he had three goals and nine assists in 42 games. Prince has three goals in 11 Stanley Cup Playoff games
New York Rangers
The Rangers agreed to terms with forward Michael Grabner, who had nine goals and 18 points in 80 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season. In seven NHL seasons with the Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks and New York Islanders, Grabner has 104 goals and 173 points in 397 games. He has two goals and six points in 17 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
San Jose Sharks
The Sharks signed defenseman David Schlemko to a four-year contract. Schlemko had six goals and 13 assists in 67 games with the New Jersey Devils last season. In 298 games with the Devils, Arizona Coyotes, Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames, he has 15 goals, 54 assists and 100 penalty minutes
St. Louis Blues
The Blues signed goalie Carter Hutton to a two-year contract. Hutton was 7-5-4 with a 2.33 goals-against average, .918 save percentage and two shutouts in 17 games (15 starts) with the Nashville Predators last season. In 76 games with the Predators and Chicago Blackhawks, he is 33-24-12 with a 2.56 goals-against average, .910 save percentage and four shutouts.
