The Minnesota Wild scored twice in a 1:44 span of the first period against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center on Friday.

Mikael Granlund scored 3:32 into the game, and Jordan Schroeder scored at 5:16 to give the Wild a 2-0 lead in Game 5 of the Western Conference First Round.

Minnesota is facing elimination, trailing the best-of-7 series 3-1.
