VGK@COL: Martinez taps home Pietrangelo's dish

Peyton Krebs had a goal and three assists, helping the Vegas Golden Knights defeat the Colorado Avalanche 7-4 in a preseason game at Ball Arena in Denver on Tuesday.

Alec Martinez scored twice, William Karlsson, Jake Leschyshyn and Reilly Smith each had a goal and an assist, and Alex Pietrangelo had two assists for the Golden Knights.
Keegan Kolesar scored for Vegas, and Logan Thompson made 34 saves.
Martinez and Pietrangelo, the Golden Knights' top defense pair, each was plus-4. Krebs was plus-5.
Mikko Rantanen and Andre Burakovsky each scored twice, and Nathan MacKinnon and Nazem Kadri each had two assists for the Avalanche. Pavel Francouz saved 18 of 20 shots before leaving at 9:49 of the second period with a lower-body injury. Jonas Johansson made 13 saves in relief.
